  1. European NonStop Community Event 2009

Nov 18th – 20th, 2009

Darmstadt, Germany

CSP has gladly participated and sponsored Connect/GTUG in Darmstadt. CSP’s theme of the conference was based around Compliance requirements on its own not fulfilling the required standards for data security. The rise in the number of data breaches confirms the need to look beyond compliance and implement stronger security measures to protect business critical data.
CSP presented, how unified compliance frameworks can help to achieve better levels of data security and how the CSP product portfolio is aiming to help customers to integrate their HP Nonstop environments into such deployments of information security management systems.
In the following security workshop, CSP presented the importance of security projects being tightly connected to the organisations risk management process.
If you like to learn more about the contents presented, please contact Thomas Leeb, Business Development EMEA, phone +43 699 1856 3888, email thomasl@cspsecurity.com.

VNUG 2009

September 28- 30, 2009

Stockholm, Sweden

CSP would like to thank the VNUG board for the invitation to the VNUG conference 2009, which took place at Vidbynäs Slott near Stockholm from Sep 29th- 30th. The event was well attended by Nonstop customers, HP and software vendors. As a vendor for NonStop security software products and sponsor of VNUG, CSP delivered a presentation describing how data breaches have affected organizations across different industries. In most cases, severe financial damage has been experienced due to the fact that data breaches have not been detected in a timely manner resulting into large amounts of data being stolen or abused.
CSP’s security solutions are designed to avoid unnecessary costs resulting from data breaches. This is achieved by reducing the probability of such incidents and by significantly reducing the impact of network intrusions as a result of implementing real time intrusion detection systems.
Implementation of stronger security policies and real time monitoring are also instrumental elements for reaching compliance with security regulations like PCI, HIPAA, SOX, ISO27001/2.
For of any questions related to the contents of the presentation please contact the EMEA representative Thomas Leeb (+43 699 1856 3888, thomasl@cspsecurity.com).
