BITUG Roadshow 2006
Thanks to all who attended the Security SIG meeting on March 15th, 2006 where CSP had an opportunity to present on the topic of “Using Security Controls with your NonStop® Systems to address compliance requirements”
CSP was also proud to participate in the BITUG Conference in London on April 6th. BITUG offered two very good User presentations and a breakout session on Data Centre physical environments. We hope you got a lot of this year’s conference.
2006 CTUG Spring Conference
The theme of this year’s CTUG was “Security in the 21st Century”.
CSP is pleased to have had the opportunity to sponsor the Keynote address, provided by Arlene O’Neil and Daniel Shap of Gardiner Roberts LLP, entitled “Cyber security in the Era of SOX and Privacy Law”.
This informative discussion provided NonStop professionals with valuable insight into the role of the CIO as the gatekeepers of security and privacy controls.
Our vendor presentation, together with a workshop on compliance, gave the audience a chance to meet and interact with the keynote presenters. Important questions were raised on the subjects of legal requirements, privacy laws, and liability for security controls. CSP provided a handout of its white paper“Responding to Sarbanes-Oxley Requirements with the CSP Product Suite”.
2006 Prairie Summit
Hosted by Midwest Region Tandem Users Group (MRTUG), this was a well-attended event held in Chicago on April 6th and 7th. ITUG has helped to grow this event into the Prairie Summit for 2006 with great success. There was a day and half of Customer presentations and updates from HP.
Many HP Partners sponsored the event and were available to demonstrate products and answer questions. CSP was a gold level sponsor and had a booth set up to present all our products with an excellent demonstration of the new XML Thunder product for the Nonstop environment.
SATUG 2006 Summit
The recent SATUG in March 2006 gave us an opportunity to provide a product update presentation to the local NonStop community and visit our customers. XML Thunder was introduced and well received. There was significant traffic at our booth for additional information. Our presentation was well attended and the feedback was extremely positive
ITUG Europe 2006
ETUG took place from May 15-17 in Amsterdam. This year’s theme is: IT Infrastructure and Business Application Solutions: Bridging technology and business.
