CSP would like to thank the SATUG committee for the opportunity to meet with the South African Nonstop user base.
Despite increasing regulatory control and security measures implemented by organizations, the numbers of data breaches and costs resulting from them are still increasing. Within the past 12 months PCI DSS has been significantly challenged by the financial services industry in its effectiveness to protect cardholder data.
CSP presented how to deploy a solid information security management system and make PCI DSS an integral part of it. Real Time Monitoring, Alerting and File Integrity Monitoring play an essential role within the IT security strategy, in order to detect suspicious behaviour as quickly as possible and allow organizations to deal with it before causing significant financial damage.
