BITUG BIG SIG 2011
December 8, 2011
London, England
BITUG organized the BIGSIG meeting on December 8th this year at Trinity House in London. CSP has been a long time supporter of this event and this year’s addition was another great success. It is always a pleasure to discuss security trends and concerns with NonStop users. CSP presented “Security beyond the NonStop” which took an enterprise wide look at security requirements and showed how a security policy matrix can be used on all Guardian and UNIX operating systems to administer the setting of ACL’s to control user access permissions. Please contact us at Sales@cspsecurity.com if you would like more information.
CTUG- Fall Conference 2011
October 26 - 27, 2011
Mississauga, Ontario
We would like to thank all the CTUG members that were able to join us for this year’s event held at HP Canada’s headquarters in Mississauga. This is always a well organized event by the CTUG board which is why it continues to be a success. CSP was pleased to support the event with a vendor booth and product presentation. Our key focus this year was on “Protect” a security policy driven management tool that allows users of NonStop and UNIX servers to manage access rights and set ACL’s. This tool is easy to use and provides investment protection with its ability to support GUARDIAN, OSS and many UNIX platforms from a common interface.
CTUG is a great opportunity to meet existing customers and fellow NonStop users to exchange ideas and discuss common challenges. We look forward to next year’s event and the continued success of the CTUG community.

ACI User Group Annual Conference
June 6 - 8, 2011
San Diego, CA
CSP was pleased to support the ACI annual user group meeting in San Diego this spring. Although the weather was rather cool for southern California the event was very well organized and attended. ACI always does an excellent job with this event and it is well supported by ACE members and the vendor community. CSP is proud to be a vendor partner and arranged for a display booth in the exhibit area. We had the opportunity to speak with many NonStop and UNIX customers who were interested in our security solutions. There is always a lot of change and growth in electronic payment processing market and CSP is happy to be able to provide security solutions which address the full spectrum of security requirements on whatever system platform customers choose. We would like to thank all of you that attended and made the event such a success for us.
EBUG 2011
April 12 - 15, 2011
Berlin, Germany
CSP gladly sponsored the annual EBUG conference in association with ACE EMEA – this year dedicated to the theme “Partnership in Payments” , held at the Berlin Palace Hotel.
The payment industry is CSP’s most important target industry, we are very glad to continue a long term partnership with EBUG as a traditional sponsor.
With today’s evolving threat patterns, there is never enough being done to make payments safe and secure. The need for security in a highly critical and sensitive payments world has existed since the introduction of electronic banking. With the birth of PCI DSS as a minimum standard for data security in card based payments, it is clear that security is anyone’s responsibility – not just the banks.
As security software vendors we look forward to working with the EBUG community to help banks and payment processors provide more secure payment transaction services to their clients.

E-Crime 2011
March 15 - 16, 2011
London, UK
CSP participated and sponsored the annual e-Crime Congress 2011 taking place at Victoria Park Plaza. We are delighted to see the trend toward stronger cooperation between governmental institutions, regulatory bodies and the industry including security software vendors. Cybercrime has clearly reached the point where strong networks and cooperation is required to efficiently fight against organized crime in an e-commerce world.
CSP contributed with a presentation about Security and Compliance. “It is important to plan for the implementation of strong security to avoid the risk of reaching compliance as a secondary effect, by assuming that focusing on compliance would take care of the security requirements. We have seen data breaches severely affecting organizations who were considered compliant prior to the breach. Compliance is nothing more than a contractual requirement, what we have to focus on is the reduction of risk.” says Thomas Leeb, Sales Director EMEA.

SUNTUG 2011
March 10 - 12, 2011
Tampa, Florida
It was our pleasure to once again support the SUNTUG user group by attending their annual spring meeting. This is always a well attended meeting and this year was no exception. There were presentations from HP, Connect and many NonStop Partners. We always enjoy meeting the users and getting more information on their environments and the security challenges they face. CSP also had the pleasure of sponsoring the golf day as well this year. It was great to spend some time with customers, enjoy the sunshine and have a few laughs. SUNTUG was another well organized and attended event. The NonStop community is well represented at SUNTUG.
SATUG 2011
March 8 - 10, 2011
Benoni, South Africa
CSP was thrilled to once again sponsor and participate at the annual SATUG conference, held on the 8th and 9th March at the Kopanong Hotel and Conference Centre in Johannesburg, South Africa. As usual the event was well attended by Southern African NonStop™ customers, as well as vendors and partners from around the world. Over and above the keynote address, user and vendor presentations were well-received, and the CSP presentation, which garnered substantial interest was entitled ‘Electronic Pick-pocketing. It detailed the trends in credit card fraud and the technologies in use to counteract fraud.
CSP would like to thank the SATUG board for their hospitality and congratulate them on another successful conference.
