An Add-on to the standard FTP on the HP NonStop™ platform (FTP and FTPSERV), which implements the “FTP-TLS” by wrapping a TLS proxy around the FTP client or server

As a standard-based solution, FTP Shield provides support for strong encryption of FTP data transfers and cooperates with compliant products on any other platforms

Server Mode

Accepts incoming requests from secure FTP clients and forwards them to FTPSERV process on the NonStop™ server

Client Mode

Accepts incoming requests from the NonStop™ FTP client and forwards them to the FTP server on the partner system
